Exfoliants are great for removing dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, allowing new skin to appear. The difference can be felt immediately after exfoliating. For oily/combination skin, exfoliate 4–5 times a week after cleansing the skin. For dry or sensitive skin, exfoliate 1–2 times a week. During the summer months, people with dry or sensitive skin may need to exfoliate more as sweat acts as a glue to cause dead skin cells to stick together and superficially coat the skin.
